Micronutrients

Micronutrients are the substances needed for our body to function, which we take in smaller quantities, usually from a couple od micrograms to few grams per day.

They include vitamins and minerals.

While they don’t provide energy for our body, they are indispensable for numerous chemical processes neccessary for life. Since we can’t synthetise them in our body, we need to take them from our food.
